Hell yeah! I was just in Alta - I stay at Goldminer’s, which is right behind you in this picture. Took a pic of this too and almost posted it. Awesome. How were conditions this weekend?

I skied Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was a little tough and I had to do some hiking to find good snow. Sunday was snowing and Catherine’s area was PHENOMENAL!!!! Pockets of 8+ inches of fresh snow!
My only regret was not taking the shuttle driver’s advice and getting nachos from the Goldminer’s Daughter!

Have you been up there before? I honestly think it’s the best skiing in the country, and maybe the world. I’d recommend the chili inside of Goldminer’s if you’re just looking for something to hold you over and keep skiing. It’s filling and reasonably priced and fast. One of the things I love about Alta is that it’s a skiing destination - not a resort town. The only problem with that is that Alf’s and Watson’s get packed and they’re real expensive because there are so few options.
